Chiefs Injury Report For Chargers Game Now Has Two Names

The Kansas City Chiefs are preparing for the San Diego Chargers on Monday Night Football and the early reports suggest they'll be very healthy. The Chiefs had just one name on Thursday's injury report and doubled that number on Friday.

S Kendrick Lewis remains on the injury report with another limited practice. He hurt his ankle in last weekend's game against the Oakland Raiders.

RB Dexter McCluster is a new addition to the Chiefs injury report. He missed practice on Friday for non-injury related reasons. The Chiefs say personal reasons so, depending on what that is, it doesn't sound like it'll be an injury that keeps him away on Monday night.

That's it for the Chiefs injury report. Because the game is on Monday, we won't see the final injury report until Saturday. So today is really Thursday and tomorrow is really Friday as far as the injury report is concerned.

Later today, we'll get to the Chargers latest injury report. They had 10 players listed yesterday.

Did he finish out the game against Oakland?

I can’t remember. But yeah definitely need him playing come Monday night, I don’t care how bad rivers has been this year, he will still find a way to shred us downfield.

I saw him in there after the injury, I dont know how long he was in for, but he looked OK

He may have swelling that occurred post game. My guess is he's doing a lot of icing.

Pure gold pick by Pioli. Finding a hall-of-famer would be great, but getting solid starters in the 5th round of the draft will keep this team competitive for years.

Shoulda woulda coulda

Cody got put in an entirely different situation then if he had been picked by us. Cody is surrounded by solid veterans in the lockerroom and had every chance to succeed and no pressure or media attention, and you might not say the same thing with the Chiefs.

If you keep thinking about the past you’re gonna get stuck there. I’m thinking about the present, and we’re currently doing okay with what we got. with a solid young 6th round pick developing behind.

If this team doesn't go to the playoffs

Then this season is a huge FAILURE!!!! Conpared to what we could have had.We are not going to have Luck,so yes i am going to root for this team now Anything else is a FAILURE!!!!other than the playoffs
