Each week, courtesy of KCChiefs.com, we post the various connections that week's opponent has with the Kansas City Chiefs franchise. Usually, there are at least a couple interesting people you had forgotten about on this list.

But not this week.

Yes ladies and gentleman. This may be the most boring list of Chiefs-opponent connections we've ever posted here. Aside from Jimmy Raye III, the Chiefs and Chargers are very weak on inter-team personnel and players. We have interns, college baseball and video assistants. Check them out:

  • Chiefs LB Brandon Siler, currently on injured reserve, played with San Diego (2007-10).
  • Chargers K Nick Novak spent time with the Chiefs (2008).
  • San Diego defensive coordinator Greg Manusky ('94-99) and asst. secondary coach Cris Dishman ('99) each played with Kansas City.
  • Chargers Director of Player Personnel Jimmy Raye III was an offensive quality control assistant with Kansas City ('95).
  • SD WRs coach Charlie Joiner held the same position for KC ('01-07).
  • Chargers Strength & Conditioning coach Jeff Hud ('98-06) coached and interned ('92) for Kansas City. He played collegiate baseball at Fort Hays State in Hays, Kan.
  • Kansas City DL Amon Gordon prepped at Mira Mesa HS in San Diego, Calif.
More after the jump.
  • Chargers T Jeromey Clary played at Kansas State ('02-05).
  • San Diego S Darrell Stuckey played at Kansas ('05-09) and is a native of Kansas City, Kan.
  • Chargers LB Andrew Gachkar played at Missouri ('07-10) and is a native of Overland Park, Kan.
  • Chiefs area scout Jay Muraco interned with San Diego ('92).
  • KC video asst. Josh Schmidt spent time at the Univ. of San Diego.
  • San Diego coaches asst. Steve Gera is a native of Kansas City, Mo., and attended Missouri.

Um, anyone we forgot?
