Chiefs at Raiders: What I Saw
Well guys another damn victory and to the Faiders. 28-0 baby.
I will unleash the goodness after the jump but I need to let some steam off.
Pete Carrol doesn't release the final lineup until right before the game so I have Lynch being dead weight when I could have adjusted and put Larry Fitzgerald in there. And regards to today's game, I left the Chiefs D/ST sitting on the bench.
- Chiefs win baby- This has to be the best feeling in the world. Coming off a putrid 0-2 start and then nearly beating the Chargers, this feels good. Chiefs have won three straight and the games look very winnable for the next few weeks. Chargers are not that good, Miami is Luck bound, Denver is meh. There is no way we don't finish those games at least 5-4 overall.
- Defense played lights out- Six INT's, two TD's, a sack and giving up no points. We stopped them at the goal line. That was awesome.
- It was U-G-L-Y, UGLY- All the penalties were ugly. Matt Cassel had two picks (only one should count), the two offensive TD's were from a fumble in the endzone and a Wild Cat TD from a Corner/KR/PR. What are you expecting from two teams that can't stand each other.
- To all the Faider fans who doubted us- Kiss our red and yellow behinds. I am sick of excuses from people regarding our wins. We beat the Vikings who looked better and a team that has been known to kick our asses. Now we beat a team that we cannot stand. We finally beat a team that is over .500 and if anyone wants to complain, bite me. It is not our fault we capitalized on their mistakes. If Haley wants to run up the score, he deserves it. They sent our running back into their bench and then tries picking a fight with Steve Breaston. Their QB's threw more complete passes to our DB's than their own guys.
That rant will finish it off as I covered everything else. Next week will get interesting as KC is back in the race. Oh and that red shirt I wear is still lucky.

DJ on that play was freaking amazing.
He came around the corner and got Bush by the legs so he couldn’t get as much air. Then Kelly came in and said

Go Chiefs!!!!
Carson Palmer.....
Go luck yourself.

When the line went to 4.5 points from 3.5 points, just because Palmer was signed, we should've known something was up.
Chiefs will continue to fly under the radar, as far as the NFL world is concerned. Nobody really wowed by them, but they’re playing very good team football, and the execution level on offense continues ratcheting upwards.
Granted, last year’s Faiders had Asomugha in the secondary, but I also think KC’s WRs were much improved in this game.
would of ≠ would've
