Carson Palmer is warming up for the Oakland Raiders and it looks like he's coming in to play QB for the silver and black. Palmer was on the sidelines and put his helmet on to a bunch of cheers as fans noticed he was getting ready. He then started throwing indicating he's warming up to go in.

It was only a matter of time for Palmer because Kyle Boller has been miserable. He's completed 7-of-14 passes for 61 yards and three interceptions. He's doing nothing to help the Raiders win and the game's not out of hand yet as KC holds a 14-0 lead.

It was believed all week that Palmer would be starting for Oakland after they traded for him on Tuesday. Considering what they gave up (two draft picks) we figured Palmer would immediately step in and several reports indicated that would happen. Ultimately, though, the Raiders decided to go with Boller to start the game and that was clearly a mistake.

So the Carson Palmer era is starting...right now. Should be fun to watch.
