As expected, the Oakland Raiders have sold (or bought) enough tickets to avoid a blackout in the Oakland area for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
It was reported on Thursday that the Raiders received a 24-hour extension to sell enough tickets to avoid a blackout and usually when the league grants an extension it's only because the team has a good chance of selling enough tickets.
So those Chiefs fans in Oakland -- why anyone would live in Oakland is beyond me -- can see the game on TV this weekend.
This doesn't change anything in Kansas City -- the game will be on TV.
