Good news for the Kansas City Chiefs and bad news for the Oakland Raiders.
Sebastian Janikowski, Oakland's kicker, might not play this weekend. Janikowski was placed on Thursday's injury report with a hamstring injury and, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Raiders are working out kickers in case he can't go on Sunday.
In fact, Schefter reports that the Raiders may have to sit Janikowski for a few weeks.
Normally, a kicker doesn't make much of a different but Janikowski might have the strongest leg in the league. He tied the NFL record with a 63-yard field goal earlier this year and his range makes life easier on the Raiders offense.
Without Janikowski, the field becomes a little longer for the Oakland offense so we'll be keeping an eye on this. The Raiders will issue their final injury report this afternoon.
