Vikings Vs. Chiefs: Greetings From Arrowhead Stadium
Greetings from Arrowhead Stadium. I'm just getting up to my seat up in the press box on this beautiful day for the Kansas City Chiefs Week 4 game against the Minnesota Vikings. The sun is shining, the barbecue smell is in the air and it feels like a football day.
The shot above is what the field looks like as of about 10:30 a.m. (Arrowhead Time). A few players are warming up on the field getting ready for today's game.
Today's big story lines include:
Battle of the winless. Both the Chiefs and Vikings are winless so each team is trying to notch the first victory of the season. Only one team has ever gone 0-4 and advanced to the playoffs so if any miracles are going to happen this season, it needs to happen now.
The return of Jared Allen. No. 69 returns to Arrowhead Stadium. Will he get booed? Will he be cheered? I'm curious to see the reception he gets.
Looking for a real NFL offense for 60 minutes. The Chiefs have yet to play a complete game. Last week against the Chargers was as close as we got with the Chiefs putting together 17 points in the second half. We're hoping to see the Chiefs play well for 60 minutes today.

hi, Mo! 5 minutes!!!
It's in my tummy!
Second time this weekend I’ve had biscuits and gravy, so it’s been a great weekend.

Why would Allen be booed?
He played his ass off for several years, allowing us to flip a 4th round pick for a 1st and 2 3rds.

I pretty much agree
But there will definitely be some people booing solely because he’s not a Chief anymore. I bet there are more cheers, though.

Five Bold Predictions
1) Matt Cassel will look dazed and confused on a passing play
2) AP will go ballistic over some blown coverage, dropped pass or a call
3) Jared Allen will hear fewer boo’s than Thomas Jones
4) Todd Haley’s sweater will clash with his headset
5) Len Dawson will, at some point, groan loudly and say “see? you just can’t DO that!”

hi, Mo! 5 minutes!!!
Is it just me or is the front page 1/2 blank for everyone else too?

Whenever they have the fullscreen ads
It slows down the loadtimes for me and it does weird thing to my screen.
Sometimes it never loads.

hi, Mo! 5 minutes!!!
We'll find out this week if Houston are pretenders or if the Steelers aren't the same team they used to be.
I’m leaning towards the latter.

hi, Mo! 5 minutes!!!
Is Anyone Surprised
When we DONT run a draw now….
There are two kinds of worries - those you can do something about and those you can't. Don't spend any time on the latter.
DE Jackson
has perfected his move of standing straight up and then slap fights with the OT. Can you say bust?
Press coverage on both of KC WR
Vikings sure don’t respect anything deep. They must figure Cassel will only have 3 seconds to pass.
Where was the booth review
both feet were not in on that TD!
