If you were excited about the Kansas City Chiefs 17-point comeback victory over the Indianapolis Colts, then you're not alone. Chiefs head coach Todd Haley said on the Chiefs Kingdom show on 810 WHB this evening that it was one of his favorite wins in his coaching career.
"That was a great locker room experience after the game," Haley told the Voice of the Chiefs, Mitch Holthus. "One of my favorite wins, maybe ever, to be apart of and that includes playoff wins and championship games to get to the Super Bowl."
Awesome.
Only a few (three) times in franchise history have the Chiefs come back from 17 points and Sunday was one of those times. You go from what might be one of the worst losses in franchise history to tying a record for the biggest comeback -- that's a great feeling when they pull it out.
We'll have an update on what Haley talked about on the Chiefs Kingdom show including why the bye week right now isn't such a bad thing, the Steve Breaston impact and turning the Chiefs season around.
