Great 2010 Season Chiefs!!!

I don't care how it ended. Sure it doesn't feel good for the season to end the way it did but that doesn't change the progress this team has made. It's easy to look at the big picture because I whole-heartedly felt like we were playing with "House Money". I didn't expect us to win the division and host a home playoff game, did you? We will continue to get better and this team will continue to make its mark on the NFL and hold atop the AFC West.

We need a great offseason and we need to re-sign Tamba Hali as soon as possible. Another good draft with guys that can help build this foundation that has been set will push us into relevancy for the long term. Free Agents are going to want to come to Kansas City and be a part of what these guys have started.

We can cry about this as long as we want. The point is that we have surpassed most reasonable expectations this year and the Chiefs are on their way back. In no way, shape, or form am I upset about this season, even as the clock hit 0:00 I was still happy about where we finished this season....in the playoffs.

I won't get into all that "realist", "hater" crap, because that is exactly what it is. We are all Chiefs fans and we now have an entire offseason to debate what fixes need to be made. This was a great season for the Chiefs and for AP. Thanks to Joel and Chris and all the moderators for all that they do to make this the top SB Nation site on the web. We have a responsibility as posters and commentors to mirror the respect and effort that these guys put into the site. I have been a little bothered by the all crap being spewed on both sides of the aisle the last couple of weeks. It's just my opinion, but AP is a place for intelligent disagreement. If you can't have a conversation without challenging someone's fanhood, or calling out names, stick to ESPN and the Star. We have to represent this site in the way that Joel and Chris deserve.

Where's the mock draft and offseason thread? GO Chiefs.
