Asomugha will be a free agent.
Asomugha is in play this offseason. Contract with the Raiders is voided, because his incentives were not met.

you say 'in play.' does that mean you want the chiefs to sign him?
dreaming of Asomugha & Flowers with Carr as Nickle and Arenas as Dime?
Scott Pioli for President in 2012. Experience? If the current President doesn't need it, why does Pioli? Besides, Pioli has the blue collar work ethic with a white collar brain. He has humility. He is tough on security. He supports war on Sundays. And he makes sound, fiscally conservative decisions.
That would be a dream sir for sure!
I wonder if we would be interested. What would that mean for Carr cause he’s a FA after the season. I can’t see them resigning Carr & signing Asomugha. One or the other
would carr be a restricted FA? just curious.

You sure...
the team doesn’t have an option to void the contract? Its got to be an option I would think.
Nope....he didn't hit incentives...strange contract lingo but it's true
He’s going to make himself some money…..and the hits keep on coming for the Raiders
The sterner the discipline, the greater the devotion.
I just checked this out because it seemed too good to be true
Well it is. Let’s get him in here. He is a classy guy, smart player, hard worker. He would fit right in. Nnamdi and Flowers?? We could blitz so much it wouldn’t be fair
Hell will want way too much money
and plus.. we have to worry about getting some of our own players signed first..
He would be worth every penny
Not to mention he would also open up several trade options.. sign him then deal him for picks+players, see what Carr could get, etc.
Fact is he is the BEST corner in this league
Cassel out, Andrew Luck in!

This from the Raider Blog tells you something
Anyone who has ever been over there will be a little surprised in the mood of the post.
