Well, we made it. I'm settling into my seat in the press box trying to warm up from the coooold walk in here. There is snow on the ground out in the parking lot which caused slight problems getting in and, as I type this, half the field is covered with a tarp and the other half looks great.
Attendance will most certainly be up if my drive in meant anything. I left a half hour earlier than I normally do and I still got here later than I normally do. The tailgates are rolling with food cooking and (plenty of) booze. The red buses are out in full force. There's a nice buzz in the parking lot right now.
We'll be getting the inactives in about an hour for today's game but we don't expect many surprises. The status of Kevin Curtis is really the only question mark at this point.

Up again after less than 4 hours of sleep, working for the 9th day in a row (did 12+ hours Fri and Sat)
Helping soldiers train before a deployment, and with any luck I can be home 10 minutes before kickoff if everything goes as planned.
Chiefs playoff game makes the recent grind just melt away. Can’t freakin wait!

It's actually the 117th RTI in Smyrna, TN (just outside Nashville)
Mostly Army Natn’l Guard, but a spattering of Army, Marines and a good bit of Air Guard here pretty frequently too.
Pretty centralized location for the region, so lots of training goes on.

Don't remember the last time I felt this anxious before a Chiefs game.
