KC Chiefs: Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night

The playoffs have returned to Kansas City and each of the Chief's players prepare themselves for the battle that will rage this coming Sunday.  Many Chief's fans, though they enjoy and admire the success that KC has had this 2010 season, are preparing for the worst.

Frontfist8_mediumKC fans have been haunted by the pains of past seasons that only the mask of time has dimmed from their reason.  Good years that have ended in a quiet goodbye, a quick exit, and submissions to the end begins to fade from their sight.

Kansas City Chief's players...the end of seasons, the end of the fight, should never fade away into that good night.

The battles, the bruises, the work and sweat should be a constant reminder of the reasons.  Why have you played?  Why have you fought?  To make a whiff in the memory of fans...to be a fading footnote in the sports page?

Kansas City Chief's players...Rage, Rage against the dying of the light.

So please, every fan pleads, put on your honor as armor and take up your pride as a shield and if you lose them both on Sunday do not return from the field.  You may not be victors, you may not conquer the foe...but respect from your opponent we demand as they go.

For this Sunday will not be that day...the day that Chiefs players fade into that good night .  Kansas City Chief's players...this season, no matter the outcome, must end with power and might.
