We’ve all heard the talk…Yes the Chiefs had a soft schedule, yes they lost badly several times, yes Charlie Weiss leaving is a distraction, yes head coach Todd Haley seems to have some maturity issues, in fact the list goes on. Regardless the Kansas City Chiefs are the AFC West Champs and host a home playoff game Sunday! Meaningful football in January in KC!

The Chief players and fans should come out Sunday like their hair is on fire, there are no do overs, it’s lose and go home.  Also it may be a while before we have a chance like this, have you seen next years opponents.

Home opponents: San Diego Chargers, Oakland Raiders, Denver Broncos, Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Road opponents: San Diego Chargers, Oakland Raiders, Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, New England Patriots, New York Jets and Indianapolis Colts.

Half the teams in the playoffs this year appear on next year’s schedule.

 It’s do or die there are no tomorrows, it would be a shame to squander this opportunity. No one expected this.  Chief fans live it up this week, bask in the glory and speculation of what might be and what can be.  GO CHIEFS!
