Charlie Weis needs get off the phone with his travel agent and design a game plan that gives the chance for the Chiefs to get an early lead and force the Ravens to play from behind.
1. Get the ball to Jamaal Charles early and often including some swing passes. Against the Raiders it seems he didn't get in the game until the 2nd qtr.
2. Listen to Lenny Dawson. Don't be afraid to throw the ball on first down, especially when the Ravens stack the box. Take a shot or two deep early in the game.
3. Get the ball to tight end Tony Moeaki early. Against the Raiders we did not throw to him till late in the game.
4. Keep Matt Cassel clean. Keep the Ravens defense off balance with play action, misdirection and bootlegs.
If the Chiefs can get an early lead and force the Ravens to play catch up I like our chances especially with our 12th man at Arrowhead.
