Jets QB Mark Sanchez Can Break Chiefs QB Len Dawson's Road Playoff Wins Record
The Kansas City Chiefs playoff woes have been well-documented but here's a statistic that is the opposite of their playoff struggles -- Len Dawson owns the career mark for road playoff victories for a quarterback. Indeed, Dawson's four road wins has him tied with Roger Staubach, Jake Delhomme and Joe Flacco for most road playoff victories in NFL history.
Considering the Chiefs in the playoffs the last two decades, that's an ironic stat.
What's even more amazing is who could break that record -- Mark Sanchez. The New York Jets QB is 4-1 on the road i the playoffs in his career and a victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers would give him the new record...just two seasons into his NFL career.
Some things just aren't fair and Sanchez potentially setting a playoff wins record in year two of his career is one of them.

interesting stat, figured it would be more than 4 games though ...
if Sanchez doesn’t get it this year, he and/or Flacco will eventually … wouldn’t be at all surprised if both of them get 5 or 6 or more before they’re done (Flacco is a better QB, I think, both have terrific talent, esp on defense)
wtg Lenny the Cool … setting that record that’s lasted for over 40 yrs :-)

hi, Mo! 5 minutes!!!
Yet another reason to root for Pit
Not only would it let Dawson’s record stand a bit longer but in might allow a couple more Chiefs in the Pro Bowl. Hali at OLB and Berry at SS. That would be great to have 6 guys in the Pro Bowl…

5 more wins
…And Tyson Jackson will break Len Dawsons record too.
Trapped in the past, Craig finds himself leaping from blog to blog, putting things right that once went wrong, and hoping each time that his next leap will be the leap home.

hi, Mo! 5 minutes!!!
And Rex Grossman is 1 or 2 away
That’s all he is is the the newest version of sexy rexy, riding his teams coat tails till it’s time for him to play a good defense, and then out he goes!
Actually it should say
Sanchez has been carried by his teammates to four road playoff wins. And if the Jets win today Sanchez would officially become the worst qb to ever make it to a sb.
Such a hater

hi, Mo! 5 minutes!!!
If Sanchez
did win a SB with this team after the season he put up he would be right there with Dilfer! Only difference is people think he is good because he was a recent high first round pick… Dude was bad this year again, even with all those WR’s.

He came out as a junior, is young, has won, and has all the tools to be a very good QB.
That is why he was a high draft pick. I am not a huge Sanchez fan, but he has been to two AFC Championship games in his first 2 years, which I think is 1 more than the Chiefs have been to in the last 40 years.

What a pimp

I guess Trent Dilfer and Rex Grossman are pimps too
Didn’t improve their team by their own play but still pimps I guess.
Sanchez yeah, Flacco maybe
I think Flacco is better then Sanchez. Flacco seems to be able to read D’s way better than Sanchez.

Sanchez v Rodgers
Pac 10 battle baby!
Rodgers is easily the best QB in the league right now. Peyton might be more overrated than In & Out Burger….
