Raiders vs. Chiefs: Greetings From Arrowhead Stadium

Good morning everyone. I'm settling into my seat in the press box right now awaiting the start of the Week 17 game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium. There are only a couple of players on the field warming up right now as we're about two hours from game time.

We'll receive the inactive list around 10:30 a.m. (Arrowhead time) but we don't expect any surprises. The Chiefs have just one name on the injury report -- S Donald Washington -- and he is doubtful to play.

The question for this game is whether and to what extent the Chiefs will rest their players. They've clinched the AFC West and a home playoff game but they're still playing for the third or fourth playoff seed. A win or an Indianapolis Colts loss gives the Chiefs the third seed.

By this evening we'll find out the Chiefs opponent and playoff schedule. It feels good knowing there's a Week 18 for the Chiefs.

Game time weather

It is Sunny and clear, currently the temp is 26 F and feels like 19 F, wind SW at 10 MPH. At game time it should be around 30 F.

The 12th man and the cold weather should be a factor in win against the Faiders.

Until next week when I’ll be traveling from NC to KC to join in the festivities at Arrowhead Stadium! It’s been a number of years since I’ve been back…can’t wait!

and, might as well get the silly predictions thing going now and avoid the rush later on ...

1) Charlie Weis will have more TV airtime than the rest of the team put together
2) Joel will remain comfortably in the pressbox with a huge buffet and will not mingle with the commoners
3) Len Dawson will begin at least 5 sentences with “see? they just can’t DO that …”
4) Nick Sirianni will be mentioned by TV announcers 419 times as a possible replacement for Charlie Weis
5) Marty will cry during his Chiefs Hall of Fame induction ceremony

Not Just a Blow Out But Punked By The Oakland Raders, Twice

Not just Thumped but Punked in a Route by the Oakland Raiders for the World to see. As I stated earlier KC was blew out by both Denver and the Chargers this year and in the lone win over Denver KC was lucky to score 10 points. The Raiders were way to much for KC to handle, here come the Ravens.

There is one thing the Raiders can teach you. It is only fun to make the Playoffs if you win a game. Nothing worse then to make them and be put away in game one. Hope you play much better then you played the Faders lol a bunch.
