Now that the 2010 NFL season is winding down we're seeing more and more awards being given out by various media outlets.
We'll have to wait a little longer for the (other) AP awards but Pro Football Weekly editors and members of the Pro Football Writers of America are among those handing out the hardware this week.
Here are three Kansas City Chiefs that landed on PFW's list:
- All-NFL running back: Jamaal Charles
- Executive of the Year: GM Scott Pioli
- All-Rookie safety: Eric Berry
Other guys who should be considered are LB Tamba Hali and CB Brandon Flowers but they play a position with lots of competition so it's harder to get recognized. It's also interesting that I see some (many) outlets picking Berry over Earl Thomas.
(Editor's Note: PFW also has their All-AFC teams listed which includes Charles and Brian Waters. Tamba was beat out by James Harrison and Cameron Wake.)
We should be hearing the official (Assoc. Press) awards in the next couple of weeks.
