The Kansas City Chiefs announced the signing of LB Eric Bakhtiari on Thursday and that's a name we should be familiar with. Bakhtiari was signed to the Chiefs practice squad on Nov. 18 and then released on Dec. 3.
Bakhtiari was on the practice squad of the Cleveland Browns, San Francisco 49ers and Miami Dolphins this year, with the Tennessee Titans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2009 and with the 49ers in 2008.
He was on the Chiefs practice squad for two games last year. He was released when LB Justin Cole was re-signed.
Bakhtiari comes from the University of San Diego.
We'll see the Chiefs sign some lesser known guys like Bakhtiari to put them on the offseason roster to see what they've got.
