Fond Memories of Dallas Texans...

I was just talking to a gentleman from Dallas and asked him if he was a Cowboys fan. He said, "Hell no." When I mentioned my Chiefs lost yesterday he told me that he fondly remembers how, as a boy, the Dallas Texans would take a dozen kids hanging around outside the stadium each game as ballboys. The team also gave out helmets and pads, so even though the kids were playing sandlot football, they had nice equipment. He said when the Cowboys came to town they didn't do any of that kind of thing and pretty much told them to stop hanging around. So even today, I was able to feel proud of my Chiefs and the Hunt family.
