They talk about our defense and they only mention Hali and Sheffield?

How can you bring up the new look Chiefs without mentioning Charles and Jones? It seems like a pretty uninformed view. No mention of special teams which is clearly in our favor and no mention of the young playmakers we drafted in Berry and McCluster as well as Arenas who I think will break one in this game.

He’s definitely right about Cassel being a huge question mark but, he seems to be wrong about Crennel’s defense. They don’t seem to have any problem adjusting to his scheme. It seems like we are getting more pressure than we have gotten in a long time and the defense looks like it has done enough this offseason to move up in the rankings by several spots.

We just need to play a tight, smashmouth, ugly game and we can win. Run the ball down their throat and don’t get behind early and we have a real chance to win.

I'd say that at this point, we're our biggest obstacle.

If we can limit turnovers, keep SD’s offense on the Bench, and control the line of scrimmage, we may have a decent chance.

If is a big word though.

Our running game will be key..

If they blitz often Charles is gonna have a few big runs…or break a big screen pass as the linebackers come in…

I think the coaching staff is still looking at Charles as an injury concern. Im looking for them to use Jones as a battering ram and wear the front seven out for the first half/3 quarters…Charles will get about 5-7 carries in the first half then a heavy dose in the second….basically splitting the carries.

Defensively, I dont think they know whats coming. From what I saw during the pre season the first team was firing on all cylinders. And once we open up the playbook its just gonna get better.

I wont stick my neck out and predict a win, but we have a whole lot of things in our favor….that Monday nite crown is gonna be ROCKIN in arrowhead. The fans have been wanting a feature Monday nite game for a few yrs….the 12th man is going to play a huge role….we may have other games that are not sell outs this yr, but this one is going to be jam packed!…..and we all know what happens then….

Secondary

This isn’t the first time I’ve read someone say our secondary is young and inexperienced. I have to completely disagree with the inexperienced part. Yes we have a rookie starting at safety but all the other starters are in there 4th year. I do think we are young which I would say is an advantage but with one rookie starting that doesn’t make the whole group inexperienced.
