I figured we hadn't seen the last of Lawrence.

me too

the 2009 draft class lives!

this should be the most exciting Chiefs team in years! Most major needs filled with playmakers, and the league's best coaching staff... 10-6 a possibility?

haha they sure do!

The picture is a Chiefs pumpkin, yeah that is right a Chiefs pumpkin.

kinda surprising that Brown was the one let go

except for the fact that they just picked up another NT

wonder who will be next

I would imagine we would give Colin Brown another chance, but as the hours tick by that is getting slimmer.

yeah, Colin AND Williams

seemed like both showed enough to find a spot…

especially Brown, given the depth at OT (or lack-there-of)

Battle sure did his part though

he really did “Battle” for that last roster spot. I still think Williams is going to land in Denver and its really going to piss me off.

Battle sure did earn his job

I don’t see Williams going to Denver… I am not sure the rest of the league got to see enough of Javarris to scoop him up

yeah maybe your right

I just feel like any RB that hits the street will get a call from them first. I pulled for Williams alot and really wanted to see Colin Brown make this team but I guess it just didn’t work out. That is why I’m not rooting for anyone from the 2010 draft class! :)

+1 stags

Williams looked like a completely different back in preseason. I think he fit our offense a lot better than Battle, but the coaching staff obviously likes Battle’s versatility.

Would love to see Javarris back on the PS.

really wish javarris would get a spot.

williams vs Atlanta

 7rushes 38yds 5.4 avg, 2 rec 16 yds

vs GB
7 rushes 22 yds 3.1 avg, but he did have a nice 10yd run down to the 1 yd line

Williams showed some flashes...

…but never did anything that made me think he was worth holding onto above Battle.

by jbj8609 on Sep 7, 2010 7:35 PM CDT up reply actions

agreed, for sure

but, I thought he’d make the PS

Awww poor Garrett

He seemed excited to make it on the PS. Best of luck to him!

Other Arenas wish they could be like Arrowhead Stadium and when rivals think they are going to be fine on an island of Flowers, they will get hit by what feels like a Carr. Ultimately, they will never be able to eat a Berry ever again.

yeah he knew it was coming

he put out a few “23 hours and counting” tweets. It would have been nice if he could have earned a spot.

True

He worked his butt off. It’s unfortunate, but he has to stay positive and move on.

Urban on IR probably saved his spot on the PS

That injury(which I thought was a mystery still)....

Urban tore the flexor tender in his ring finger on his right hand during Thursday night’s preseason game against the Green Bay Packers.

is that usually a season ending injury?

or did they not want to pay an injury settlement by cutting him?

Guessing he didn't just get the boot

He seems interested in remaining with the team and helping out how he can.

that's probably fanshot worthy, if you have a link, GB

rub some dirt on it then tape it....

sure doesnt sound like the tough type of player/s that Haley keeps saying he wants!

I think he was doing a decent job as gunner on the punt/kick team..

maybe he’s the next Terrance Copper?

not much of a WR, but a ST stud?

I never saw Garrett play

but I would have kept him just based on positional need instead of QL.

Chiefs WILL!
