you know they dont get done surfing until 1100 then they may actually think about the Chargers for a brief moment sitting in traffic on the 5 on their way home from the beach, but then they forget about them on their way to the skatepark!

Ok, I'll start
Can someone tell me a little bit about how Eric Berry has played in the preseason? What do you expect of him? He’s supposed to be the complete package from a physical standpoint. How fast do you think he’ll develop mentally? Safety is as much a mental position as it is a physical position. From the Charger’s standpoint, we probably won’t expect him to nail ALL his assignments in his first real NFL action. In fact, you might excuse someone for considering his first NFL game to be a baptism by fire. After all, there aren’t many match ups like Rivers and Gates that can generate anxiety from even the most seasoned veteran safety. What are your thoughts on Berry’s development so far? Again, I don’t have any reason to expect he’s not GOING to be a stud. How do you think he’s going to do on Monday night?
He'll be solid.
I don’t expect him to shut down Gates but, I also don’t think Gates will have the usual huge days he has enjoyed vs our Chiefs. If Berry has an opportunity to make a play, he’ll make that play. I believe that for sure.
I think the big surprise for Rivers will be the pressure he didn’t see last year. We will be in his face all night for sure. Especially Hali vs your backup LT. Hali will have a big night. Rivers will struggle at least for a good portion of the game.
Also, we turned the ball over a lot in both games vs SD last year. I don’t think we’ll give the ball up quite so easily this time either.
I'm curious to see how Dombrowski holds up
I think we’ll be solid running to that side with him in there but to think he’ll be the same guy as McNeil is asking too much. We’ll have to slide protection over to help him. How that changes their game plan will be interesting to see.
I’m worried about the noise. There’s a lot of optimism coming from KC and the crowd is going to be pumped for their first game.
