What should I expect at my very first Chiefs game?

im doing this from my phone right now so bear with me

was wondering what i should expect at my first chiefs game and first nfl game of my life.

i moved from north dakota to tennessee so i would be in a place that matters to civilization and would be able to go to any chiefs game if they play the titans or browns. im tryin to think how amazed i will be at seeing the lamar staue and arrowhead stadium in the flesh. i imagine ill have tears in my eyes when i see my first td in kc and will be able to yell were gonna beat the hell outta you. but most of all i will be glad to finally be with so many chiefs fans as we see the start of the greatest championship run in this teams history. i hope 10 years from now ill be able to come back to arrowhead and walk through the hall of honor and see 4 super bowl trophies.

p.s. is arriving at arrowhead on saturday to early to tailgate for a monday night game.

I think you're right.

I hope you’re right.

You better be effing right! C’mon KC, get out there and make some freaking noize! I’ll be in a bar in Seattle defending our honor in a McCluster jersey.

Chiefs WILL!

Oh it'll be loud.

That’s is the only thing we DON’T have to worry about.

Be prepared to have your socks blown off!!

There isn’t anything in the world that can compare to being at a Chiefs game in person. I lived in KC most of my life but I now reside in Georgia and I hate the fact that I can’t get back there to see the revamped Arrowhead Stadium in person. Be prepared to be awestruck by the experience. It’s hard to beat looking out from whatever vantage point you happen to be and seeing nothing but a “Red Sea” surrounding you. Add into the mix that it is hailed by most opponents and quite a bit of the media as the loudest venue in the NFL (especially when the opponent is on offense.) For a first timer it should be quite an experience. The loudest game I ever attended was the Monday Night game against San Diego in 1995 when Tamarrick Vanover ran back a punt in overtime for the win. The place was ROCKIN’!! You couldn’t even hear the person next to you talk it was so loud. Hope it is a great experience for you.

I remember seeing that one on TV.

One of the best games ever.

...And as the roar of 80,000 red-clad great plains warriors fills the hallowed halls of Arrowhead, it will strike fear into the hearts of lesser men. For on that field, individual men toil for something greater than individual honors. They toil as brothers-in-arms, as 53 spirits striving towards a single purpose and driven by a single goal: The glory that comes with vanquishing your foes. They will achieve their birthright, they will be champions.

Since the beginning of time it was written in the stones that one day a stadium would come. Well that stadium has come and now it’s here to come again… in your ear pussies.

Chiefs Might

LOUD NOISES

I want to hear arrowhead all the way from San Diego. There is a responsibility that goes along with stepping into arrowhead. Every fan there is responsible for making as much noise as humanly possible and it DOES affect the game.

And Chiefs fans know WHEN to make noise.

I'd rather be a failure at something I love than a success at something I hate.

Lots of loud noises

Hell, I was at the game against the Steelers last year when we squeaked out a win in OT. Everyone was so excited that a good portion of the crowd tomahawked from their seats to the parking lot after the game. It was beautiful, to say the least. There’s nothing better than being at Arrowhead, absolutely nothing.
