Let's stick to our gameplay on Sunday's
Okay so we all know the Chiefs do not have such named players behind center such as Manning, Brees. River, Rodgers, Brady, and uh Manning. What does that mean?
We must RUN the ball. Let's stick our gameplan which is to run to set-up the pass versus pass to set-up the run. We have a QB named Matt Cassel who is a game manager and not a game winner yet (although stats may prove otherwise from previous seasons but he isnt there) Lets be honest, we will should run to control the clock and also limit our defense from seeing the field because they can't score if they don't have the ball right? Right!
As long as fumbling isn't too much of an issue, the games should be fairly close for the most part. There may be extenuating circumstances of course but if our defense works on giving up 3 vs 7 then that's when our defense go from piss-poor to average while also limiting 3rd down conversions.
Back to the offense: Jones can spell Charles, and Dex can spell Jones, and can't believe I'm saying this but Battle can Spell Dex, Charles, & Jones. *Wipes forehead* PHEW
So on Sunday's and Monday's lets run and limit turnovers. That's the key to winning games. Hey Lombardi did it against us in SB I. (still urks me we lost when we were better. Clearly outcoached) Pachanga

Chiefs will run to set up the pass !
This is a good way to for our beloved Chiefs to Return To Glory ! I am haveing flash backes to when Mike Garrett ; Ed Podolak & Company would grind out the game clock ; for Chiefs wins . Geaux Chiefs ! short circuit the Bolts !
YEP!
If we can run the ball successfully, we no longer have a need for a FRANCHISE QB. A competent journeyman will suffice nicely. That’s what we have with Cassel. Hell yes he has issues. If you look at his stats, he never started in College, so he doesn’t have 4 solid years under center there. He’s only in his 3rd year as a starting QB period. He will get better, but even if he doesn’t, he’s decent enough not to LOSE games.
Put the rock in the running backs hands, and let them carry the team. Cassel is plenty capable to mix it up so we’re not too predictable. Screens and playaction will keep the LB’s at home enough to get us into 3rd and short. And, as we proved so well under our dominant O’s of years past, it doesn’t matter if they know what you’re gonna do. What matters is CAN THEY STOP YOU? We’ve got two scat backs in Charles and McCluster. Two power backs in Jones and Battle. That means we can keep all four rested and hungry. Late 3rd and 4th Q will show us starting to pull away.
Throw in a few receivers for a change of pace…not hard to get into the W column.
…just sayin.
