Chiefs weren't interested in Houshmanzadeh last yr enough to pursue; thought he was overpriced and aging. Highly doubt they go after him now

would he be an upgrade over anyone we got now, yes

do we have the money to pay him, yes
do I think we sign him, no

The picture is a Chiefs pumpkin, yeah that is right a Chiefs pumpkin.

hmm

Well, upgrade over who?

I guess it might be alright to try him if he gets cut and thereby we get him super cheap. But, trade – no.

I live here in Seattle and I remember last year he was a whiner. We don’t want or need that.

would probably be a good #3 receiver for us

I would say an proven WR upgrade. IMO he would upgrade us over Lawrence, Copper, and Horne. But I dont want him to take possessions away from DMC.

ok

Yeah, he might be better than those guys. I guess I was comparing him more to the starter guys. He might also be better than Urban – at least the guy we’ve seen here.

I just still worry about age and attitude.

Of course they would be interested in him.

The questions are:

a) Would they be interested in him and the salary he will want
b) If he is released and wants to sign for a reasonable price will he sign here.

I think the answer to both questions is no, so he will not be a Chief.

At best TJ would be our 3rd reciever....

If that were the case then he would also need to do something else in addition to being the 3rd. Call me crazy but I just don’t see TJ running with the special teams.

I’m thinking the way I think Pioli thinks…. if that makes sense…. If you want to be on this team you had better be versatile….. and if you’re not versatile you had better be amazing at the one thing you do do…. TJ isn’t an amazing reciever any more.

So you got the fax. So why didn't you add it to the resume? What do you mean? Of course martial arts training is relevant.

The Truth.

I think you hit the nail on the head with your reasoning.

Pass.

TJ would expect to be the starter, and would most certainly cause a rift. He’s not that kind of difference-maker anymore, and just wouldn’t add anything to the locker room. Hell, he may just take away from it.

Just not a good fit all around, imo.

The Chiefs will see a return to respectability in 2010, emerging as the front runner in the AFC West! ....And I'll quantify that however I choose. Ahem.

Don't think T.J. will play special teams

so we don’t need him

yeah no need for TJ, a Crayton would have made sense, and by that I mean someone who wont require targets etc...

just no…

I laughed when NFL N made a huge deal out of the housh signing with seattle…this is why

What?!

I’d take TJ over urban any day! I thought we were trying to get better!

TJ is a good player and a good leader

he has never had any problems in Cinn or Sea, I think he is better than Chambers and Maybe even Bowe. This guy can flat out play

He could go back to cinci.

Now that they cut Bryant.

Run D is the key this year.
