There are a number of different controversies regarding how the Kansas City Chiefs operate. And all of them have a valid solution. Still without controvery this league would be boring and uneventful, even though that it is quite annoying to some, while it is what some fans live for. Here are a few controveries that surround Arrowhead:
- Matt Cassel. Yeah, yeah, we all know this one. "He isn't accurate", "no arm", "no clue what he is doing." But if you throw Brodie Croyle out there, chances are he will get hurt and then what do you have? That's right, Cassel. He will thrive even more with the top rushing in the league and a great west coast passing attack. He looks to be getting comfortable with his receiving corp (though I would like to see more catches by the WR's), and you have to give him atleast this year. His contract shouldn't make a differnce since the Chiefs are at the bottom of the NFL in salaries as a team.
- Demarrio Williams and D.J. - This has died down alot since it became one. Johnson is becoming the player we seen at Texas. Sure, Williams is a good LB, but he doesn't give the team what D.J. does, not even close. Unless DJ falls off the map, Williams will be used primarily as a 3rd down rusher.
- Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones. This is the reason why I posted this. Sure Charles is the more explosive back, but I still think he can't carry the bulk of the work due to his frame and durability. Why fix this if it ain't broke? The one-two puch of JC and TJ is reminisent of Priest and LJ. The team the Chiefs play will ultimately decide the gameplan. Haley and Weis know what they are doing and the controversy should in fact be laid to rest. The only reason I think there is this, is because people like to do Fantasy Football. I don't understand why this is more important than wins and losses. Root for your team first, then care about your fake team. Unless you have a crapload of money invested in your team. There are plenty of free sites for you.
