This morning we asked whether the Kansas City Chiefs upcoming bye week is a momentum killer after winning three in a row or if it's perfect timing.
As of now, about 80 percent of you agree with me that it's perfect timing.
And Todd Haley agrees, too.
"I've done a lot of thinking on this and I'm really trying to figure out the best way to handle this young, developing team is," Haley told Adam Schein and Rich Gannon on Sirius NFL Radio on Tuesday afternoon.
"I don't think it could come at a better time for us. We could use the bye week. We have a lot of work to get done in a lot of different areas. There will be some projects for the coaching staff. The players...it's very important they understand that the process hasn't stopped as we try to get a little better each day."
Haley said he's spent a lot of time figuring out how to handle the bye week. He didn't specify whether Indy preparation begins this week or if they're saving that for next.
The Chiefs can get healthier, get a few more (needed) hours of prep for Peyton Manning and the Colts.
