I loved the fake reverse / flea flicker play in our SF game this week. The TD was nice, but the main reason I was excited to see it pay off is for our upcoming game against the Colts.
Indianapolis has had trouble defending the run already this year. Now with the threat of oddities like that flea flicker, their safeties will have to stay home in deep coverage for just a tick longer than they might like to for fear of giving up the big play and being made to look a little foolish.
That delay in safeties coming up in run support can really help us out running the ball against the Colts after our bye week.
Do the AP faithful see any other examples of play calling in the SF game that can give Indy's coaching staff some potential insecurities in the film room?
