Why Jamaal Charles needs to start
EVERY GAME SINCE PRE SEASON (Besides Philly)
Thomas jones runs for a total of 2 yards on the first two plays of the game. We have an incomplete pass, and 3 and out. The Defense holds the fort down. Next drive, TJ gets 2 yards on the first two plays of the second drive, 3rd down. Cassel gets sacked. The defense is tired because even though they didnt let up a FG or a td, the drive lasted for a good amount of time. Now the opposing team has the ball again, and they score a TD on their second or 3rd drive while TJ had started the previous Chiefs offensive drive.
AFTER WE GET SCORED ON, WE ALWAYS PUT JAMAAL IN THE GAME. Its almost a routine. Its like todd haley is saying "defense, lets see how you hold up with a 45 second break in between drives because TJ isnt getting any yards and Cassel gets sacked. Ok we got being scored on out of the way, now lets bring Jamaal in and win this game!"
YOU CANT DO THAT EVERY SINGLE GAME!!!! Because jamaal isnt always gonna score or put the team in position to score, on that 3rd and 4th drive. He has, but he wont always.
Has anyone else seen this pattern?
