Just the facts on the now-infamous JC incident (h/t to NFL Rewind)

First of all, I hate that I'm posting this.  It bugs me.  I don't think it should be necessary.  However, the fact is that some faulty information is going out there, and I can't stand that happening.

I live in MN (as the astute can tell from my name), so I purchased NFL Rewind in order to see Chiefs games.  As such, I'm able to go back and watch the game as many times as I want.

Here's the basic claim; in the 3rd quarter, Jamaal Charles ran for about 7 yards to get a 1st down.  After doing so, he was pulled out of the game.  He then sulked and was yelled at an humiliated by Carthon in front of his teammates.  This started with Nick Wright and has gained some steam in the last few hours here on AP

A post went up where someone claimed to have seen this happen in the 3rd quarter, and they offered this as evidence of Wright's claim.

Here are the facts.

1) Jamaal Charles NEVER RUSHED FOR A 1ST DOWN in the 3rd quarter.  Anyone who says they've seen video of this incident in the 3rd quarter cannot possibly be right.  And I'll be honest, I'm not really going to take all that seriously what someone says is going on if they can't even tell me the quarter.

2)  The only run that could possibly be the one that's being talked about occurred in the 4th quarter.

3) There were TO's before and after the play in the 4th.  There is no video of the sideline whatsoever, other than Haley walking towards the players clapping.

Could the "JC Incident" have occurred?  Sure.  But the (TV) tape doesn't show it.  I can absolutely promise you that.  So anything and everything is speculation at best.
