this is from Nick Wright's show today. this is apparently what he is blaming for Jamaal Charles' carries on sunday.
he said that at one point when Charles showed a little frustration while heading to the bench, Maurice Carthon apparently ripped him a new one (including some MFers according to Nick) in front of the rest of the team, and even includes something like "don't be mad about coming off the field! you're the backup!".
Nick's source(s) (unnamed players) say that after that moment, Charles went to the tank (sitting alone and sort of shutting down), and caused the team to wonder about his effectiveness thereafter.
Interesting if this is true. Todd Haley has showed his willingness to adapt his coaching methods to fit every player, so I'm curious what ends up coming out of this. I'm sure we won't ever hear confirmation from the Chiefs that there was even an incident.
