Chiefs Vs. Packers Preseason: Kansas City Leads 14-3 At Halftime
The Kansas City Chiefs are up on the Green Bay Packers in their final NFL preseason game, 14 to 3. So far, the offense has looked quite good in the first half, scoring two touchdowns using a variety of tactics - long passes, long returns and a punishing running game.
RB Jackie Battle had a 50-yard run and a lot more yards on top of that. He also had a short rushing touchdown that capped a 95-yard drive by the Chiefs. Battle locked up a roster spot tonight I think.
With the rain coming down, there aren't many fans at the game anymore, which you can see in the picture above.
I have to say, I really like what I saw in the first half from the Kansas City Chiefs. Agree/disagree?

Nice run by Castille
Good block downfield by O’Connell
That WAS a beauty by Castille...first time he's really shown me much of anything....
unfortunally, we don’t need another offensive weapon right now…..we need guys who are capable of being a weapon but are willing to block for the bigger weapons. If you take away all of your blockers in favor of weapons…you’re undermining your own weapons.
Cox is a much better blocker.

Well if one person gets hurt it won't be so bad
They will be surrounded by the rest of the starters. 2-3? I’ll start worrying
Looks like Morgan is headed out
I’m really surprised he hasn’t done well based on Herm’s ability to pick d backs and the fact that Morgan was a fairly high round pick (third?).
