I know that what I am going to post is kind of a fan shot, but I wanted to add pictures and didn't know how to on the fan post.
On this day I wanted to take some time to say thank you to our men and women of our military. I know there are a lot of people that are on Arrowhead Pride that have served and I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. We get to enjoy the Kansas City Chiefs because of so many brave men and women that are so selfless. I remember that day vividly. I was in the US Marines in San Diego at camp Pendleton. I knew that day would change my life forever.
I am not going to go into my details of my military experience, but I do want to share that while I was gone my family recorded every Chiefs game for me. To this day when I watch the first game the Chiefs played after September 11th, I cry. I see how much every Chiefs player, fan, and everyone came together. How much our fans truly cared. So today I just want to say thank you. Every man woman and child in the United Stated of America thanks the men and woman that gave everything on September 11th and the men and women that did after.
This is my home. This is where I feel at home. This is my passion along with my family. I love the Kansas City Chiefs and I am so thankful I live in a country with so many people that sacrifice all of thier time with their families to do so much for so many strangers.
I know this was a little bit of a ramble and I am sorry. God Bless the USA, God bless the Marines and God bless the Chiefs!
What were you doing on Sept 11?
