I have to admit, I never really subscribed to the whole "Don Pioli" nickname... but after being exposed to it over and over, and especially after seeing the efficiency by which he runs this organization, I couldn't help myself. I had to do a caricature.
I know the front office is an odd thing to do a celebratory wallpaper for, but I think, like me, there are a lot of people around here that are becoming more and more impressed with the way this team is being built. I know it hasn't necessarily translated to the field yet, but the entire organization is just bleeding confidence. It looks good on 'em.
As before, Wallpapers!
Also, at the link above you'll be able to see a higher resolution version of this. the AP software tends to crunch them down a little bit, causing them to lose some of their detail

My long, drawn-out predictions that no one cares about, nor will bother to remember:
1. Todd Haley will still be the Chiefs Head Coach up to the 2011 season.
2. Clancy Pendergast won't make it to the 2010 season and was never intended to. Last-minute hire for a position that needed to be filled.
3. Todd Haley will not be the OC at the start of the 2010 season.
you mean "Don-imates?" or "Don-inates"?
To make a bad day worse, spend it wishing for the impossible.
I've had the same dream every night this week. I think it means that the spring season flopped and my subconscious has gone into reruns.

I like, Good Job.
Scott Pioli's star will shine in 2010.
Win or lose, the Chiefs scare the bejesus of all opponents in 2010
Holy crap dude...
Each on is better than the last…. Like I said I can’t wait to see your Berry and Cassel additions.

You should definitely pass this one along to the F.O.
The Chiefs will see a return to respectability in 2010, emerging as the front runner in the AFC West! ....And I'll quantify that however I choose. Ahem.
we've actually been in touch
i got them involved early to inquire about selling them. who knows what will come of it but there was at least some interest from the guy that actually contacted me. he said he’d show them around.
you guys here at AP should lobby for me :P
…maybe if they see there’s an actual interest from some people
I actually think this could be very good for them. Kansas City has such a rich art community, and the chiefs have ZERO presence there. this could be a bridge.

You know your problem, Chris?
Your stuff is too good. I think people glance at them and think they’re photos or something. Keep at it. There will be a place for these to hang at Arrowhead or a museum or something. (And uh, I don’t really mean that you should make them “worse.”) Great job.
thanks man :P
