Package deal...Weis and Crennel

To be honest, I thought Charlie Weis and Romeo Crennel would've garnered a lot more respect and attention than what I've seen. People in Miami are giving the Dolphins tons more credit for hiring Defensive Coordinator Mike Nolan. I say Bulls***! One of the biggest stories in the NFL, not just the Chiefs are these two coordinators and their reunion in Kansas City.

Not only did the Chiefs not bring in the expected talent to fix the front line and all the demons of years past, management said , "You know what? We know Weis and Crennel are proven, hell, how many Super Bowls do these two have between them?" Not to mention the years of experience, more recently, Weis being at Notre Dame. I give management this, WOW, they SPANKED the the big one in this. C'mon, look at all the tangibles. Nobody's talking about this, at least not yet! Can you frickin' believe that? WOW!!! ESPN sends one of their brightest reporters in John Clayton, and you know what? He totally missed the story, totally!! I actually respect John Clayton, very much. I just miss Sean Salisbury and him going at it. Anyway, look, don't be fooled. The Chiefs will go, at the very least, 9-7. They could go 12-4 based on their schedule alone! They will win the division and play in a playoff game, I don't know what happens after that...

Weis and Crennel are very special. If you look at some of the pictures of these two you can see the passion and lust to win in their expressions, a total commitment to their players, coach, and their city. Can you see it? I can, and they're being very quiet about it of course. What would you do? Hey! I'm Charlie Weis and I know I'm the best. You need to pay attention to me and write about me, I'll spare you the trouble of reading between the lines. Now get me a Jack and coke...

Look, about midway through the season when the Chiefs are 5-3 and you see 8 more games, you'll know this S*** is kickin' in.

Romeo Crennel has a way of showing proper technique to his front. In New England he did the same thing. Not much has been said about the way he communicates with his guys and how well they respond. Just look at the early Browns and the Patriots when he was there.

Charlie Weis likes to develop Quarterbacks, look at Tom Brady and the time he spent with him. A genius of an offensive mind, that's why the Chiefs will let him do his thing. He knows how to communicate with younger players and get the most out of them.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, give these two guys all the love we can possibly give them, cause lord knows nobody else will...
