I didn't attend the afternoon practice today but Josh Looney of KCChiefs.com has a nice writeup on the happenings during today's session.

Here are a few basics:

• Brian Waters and Pierre Walters are both still out. Waters has some sort of ankle injury and we're not sure what's up with Walters.
• Maurice Leggett returned to practice. He missed yesterday after saying last week on his Twitter account that the birth of his child was coming Monday, if not sooner.
• Newly signed John Russell wore jersey no. 98 and worked with the outside linebackers.
