The early signs on Kansas City Chiefs LB Cameron Sheffield are positive after he suffered a neck injury on Friday night against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Chiefs announced on Saturday that Sheffield has been released from the hospital. They also say Sheffield has movement in all of his extremities.

This is extremely good news to hear.

Sheffield was in on a helmet-to-helmet hit with Eagles RB Mike Bell on Friday night and went down bringing trainers onto the field to tend to him. He was loaded onto a stretcher and carted off the field.

The only official word from the Chiefs is that he's been released from the hospital and has movement in his extremities but several outlets are reporting that "He's doing fine."

For the second week in a row, the Chiefs get very positive news on a player carted off the field.
