I don't have DVR so I can't really go back and re-watch the game. At first I was of the mindset that Cassel just threw that pass behind Moeaki and it was bad play on Cassel's part.
But someone else mentioned that it looks like he was throwing it Chambers who was a bit past Moeaki. If that's the case, and Moeaki turns back to go for it - slapping it up for the tip drill pick, it has me asking myself this:
Was Moeaki out of position / running the wrong route in the first place? Was he not aware of Chambers being the target behind him? Or was it just a busted play over all, with guys just trying to get open after they finished their routes?
I'm genuinely curious about the nuts and bolts of this play. And I don't think it may be as straightforward as I had initially thought.
