The Kansas City Chiefs have had a rough start to their third preseason game of the year against the Philadelphia Eagles.
On the first offensive play from scrimmage, Jamaal Charles fumbled the ball and the Eagles recovered. On their second play, LeSean McCoy took it 18 yards, basically untouched, for the score.
7-0 Eagles.
On the second play of their second drive, the pocket collapsed around Cassel and as he tried to scramble out of it he was pulled down and fumbled the ball. This time, though, the Chiefs recovered.
The Chiefs have yet to score or put up any sort of offensive momentum. They entered Eagles territory but Cassel threw an interception on a third down.
The Eagles then had a 16-play, 47-yard drive that netted them a field goal.
10-0 Eagles after one quarter.
