Kansas City Chiefs Have Three Players Miss Practice
The Kansas City Chiefs held another night practice on Wednesday evening and three players did not participate.
G Darryl Harris: He's been out for a few weeks and the fact that he hasn't been placed on PUP may indicate that he'll be ready in the early goings of the season.
DB Maurice Leggett: The good news is that he was out on the field walking around with his teammates last night. However, he has yet to participate in practice since suffering a neck injury last Saturday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The fact that he was out walking around on the field is a good sign.
RT Ryan O'Callaghan: There's no word on what's up with him. He left practice earlier this week with some sort of injury and hasn't returned. The Chiefs had Barry Richardson lining up behind him. They've also had Colin Brown playing some right tackle as well as former offensive lineman Bobby Greenwood.
Of those three, O'Callaghan's injury is the one that could cause some trouble. The Chiefs aren't very deep at offensive tackle. It appears Richardson is the swing tackle, which likely secures his spot on the roster.
Brown was taking right tackle snaps so I'm wondering what his role is if Richardson takes the number two spot. He hasn't seen any time at left tackle.

O'Call is the one I hope they are just being cautious with
Harris and obviously Leggett are hurt, I just hope O’Call is hampered and they are trying to heal him up.
The picture is a Chiefs pumpkin, yeah that is right a Chiefs pumpkin.
Could be the “surprise” release this year. But it really wouldn’t be that big of a surprise.
If someone asks you if you want extra mayonnaise you have to say yes, cus that's part of it.

it wouldn't be so much of a surprise
more of a head sratcher like “who the hell else do we have?”

That or they are wanting to get a closer look at what Colin Brown can do?
He was put down on the IR for a mysterious injury that occurred last season. So it could be that they are going to cut Colin Brown because he isn’t NFL ready still… or maybe he has seen vast improvement. More will be revealed.
Go Chiefs!!!!
I thought everyone was down on O'Cal anyway
Isn’t this what everyone wanted? Get Brown in there. Sometimes you have to be careful what you wish for.
"You gonna pull them pistols...or whistle Dixie?"
I had wanted O'Call to be a workable RT for us this year
And be good solid depth as the position gets upgraded.
Injured / not contributing at all is a notably ‘bad thing’.
Chiefs - back in the playoffs in 2011.
At this point, O'Cal is the better player
There are a lot of people pulling for Brown because 1) he played for Mizzou and 2) it helps validate last year’s draft if he becomes a starter. But, for right now, O’Cal is the better RT. It would be nice if his time off gets Brown on the field a little more so he can get evaluated. Has he even had enough game time for Bewsaf (the AP O-line expert) to grade him?

Hopeful on Harris...
think he has potential. I’m praying for O’Cal though. I honestly don’t think he is our long-term solution anyways, but unfortunately, he is the best we have at RT. Any thoughts or word on Asamoah playing RT??
2010 Chiefs are on the rise. This is the most excited I've been since 'Nam...
