Kansas City Chiefs head coach Todd Haley just told the media before this evening's practice that he expects the Chiefs' offensive and defensive starters to play a lot longer this Friday against the Philadelphia Eagles. This match up marks the third game of the NFL preseason for the Chiefs, which is traditionally the game where the starters play into the third quarter.
On Chiefs starting QB Matt Cassel, Haley said, "Every snap counts for him."
Haley also mentioned that some veteran Chiefs may not play, depending on their health or if a younger guy needs more live game evaluation time.
Tonight's practice is also free and open to the public. Here are the details:
- Gates open at 6:15 PM;
- Practice is from 7:15 PM to 9:15 PM;
- Fans can enter through any spiral gate, the Tower Gate and Founder's Plaza Gate entrances; and,
- Parking is free.
Concessions will be on sale and pretty much all of the New Arrowhead Stadium will be open for fans to check out. Make sure you take pictures and post them here.
For those of you that are going, see if you can spot an AP member or two and say Hello.
