Chiefs Vs. Eagles Preseason: Practice Open To The Public Tonight

Photo

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Todd Haley just told the media before this evening's practice that he expects the Chiefs' offensive and defensive starters to play a lot longer this Friday against the Philadelphia Eagles. This match up marks the third game of the NFL preseason for the Chiefs, which is traditionally the game where the starters play into the third quarter.

On Chiefs starting QB Matt Cassel, Haley said, "Every snap counts for him."

Haley also mentioned that some veteran Chiefs may not play, depending on their health or if a younger guy needs more live game evaluation time.

Tonight's practice is also free and open to the public. Here are the details:

  • Gates open at 6:15 PM;
  • Practice is from 7:15 PM to 9:15 PM;
  • Fans can enter through any spiral gate, the Tower Gate and Founder's Plaza Gate entrances; and,
  • Parking is free.
Concessions will be on sale and pretty much all of the New Arrowhead Stadium will be open for fans to check out. Make sure you take pictures and post them here.

For those of you that are going, see if you can spot an AP member or two and say Hello.

This is getting rediculous

I’ve been a Chiefs fan for about 20 years, and I have never been to Arrowhead.
I should come.

Don't get Jose Bautista Mad. You wouldn't like him when he is mad.

didn't you and Joel work out something

he signs your expense report/you get drunk off American beer at Arrowhead?

The picture is a Chiefs pumpkin, yeah that is right a Chiefs pumpkin.

Finally got off the shnide...

After growing up in the Las Vegas era and being a Chiefs fan since Super Bowl IV, I finally made it a couple years ago. Unfortunately, they stunk it up against the Raiders. Still, even under construction, it was very cool to finally see Arrowhead. The bowl is amazing. We were up high, and I thought it was still a great seat. Brought binoculars, but rarely used them. I really want to see the new Arrowhead now.

why is the CHIEFS

in the endzone so small? Im glad to finally see the endzone decked out with the red walls, instead of the soccer field there, but I really wish they would add Arrowhead in the endzone or at least make the one at midfield bigger!

Los Angeles is a far ways away from One Arrowhead Dr.

I know that you're afraid... you're afraid of us. You're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it's going to begin.

Interesting how the banners with players on them along the sidelines

instantly came down when Pioli and Co. got here. Not saying its a bad thing because I get the point but its just something I noticed

Wish I was going...

I have season tickets, but this might be my only opportunity to see some areas of the new Arrowhead.
