Chiefs Training Camp: Another Night Practice Coming

Stay connected for news and updates

The Kansas City Chiefs will be holding another night practice this (Wednesday) evening from 7:15-9:15 p.m. The last night practice had about 8,000 in attendance and, because of the heat during the daytime hours, was much, much more enjoyable than a normal practice.

If you haven't been to a practice yet, then this is it. The Chiefs last practice in St. Joe is Thursday at 1:50 p.m. but this is the one you'll want to go to.

Other than the intra-squad scrimmage, this has the chance to be the best day in St. Joe yet. You'll get a visit from owner Clark Hunt, "Voice of the Chiefs" Mitch Holthus, the Chiefs cheerleaders and other MWSU officials.

Just as important, the weather (yes, a weather update) is supposed to be in the low-80s and high-70s so it's very bearable.

Check out the Chiefs full release on the practice but here's what you need to know:

  • Gates open at 4:30 p.m.
  • $10 admission fee (children three and under are free)
  • Buy tickets: At the complex, St. Joe HyVee or call them at 816.232.9570

I would strongly encourage you to pay for parking. The price has been reduced to $5, which is a small price to pay to save yourself a few blocks of walking.

So are you heading out there?
