They're Back...Random Thoughts
I haven't done this in awhile. Here we go.
*I hope that Vikings head coach Brad Childress has been working tirelessly with Tavaris Jackson and doing everything he can to help improve the guy's game. I'm not kidding about that. Favre already knows the playbook so I think he will be fine. Childress needs to be coaching up Jackson. Brett's ankle still hasn't fully healed and if he suffered a season-ending injury, then Jackson will be the man under center. If that happens (Jackson taking over for an injured Favre) and the team doesn't make the playoffs, then I will point the blame at Childress and nobody else.
Having said all that, I hope Favre doesn't get injured and has another good season.
*I have a job interview on Thursday. If I get hired I'm thinking about getting the NFL package from DirecTV. I just saw the commercial for it yesterday (If I buy the NFL package I get five months of regular service free). Would it be worth it to get this package? Does anyone know if it's a good deal?
*I miss Jason Whitlock. And by that I mean that I missed hitting him with my car when he left the Star.
*I'm kidding about that last comment. It was totally inappropriate. What I meant to say was this: I will miss Whitlock's inconsistent and ass-backwards articles. I will miss reading about the great Jeff George. I will miss.......something else......hmmmmm........I'll come back to this one.
Well that's all for today. Feel free to respond. Take care!

My take :)
I will be watching to see how long Favre plays this thing out. I can imagine that Jared is ready to run Brett down with the Pink Cadillac and the KC installed steer horns et al.
I will endure my 5th furlough day prior to Labor Day. I have worked for 3 companies sitting basically behind the same desk for the last 26 years. Not Really bitching yet I can remember when 25 years got a nice gift from the company, now just having the Job is the prize.
Re Jason, I heard a nice joke today.
One of the sports reporters was at a Star vending machine today, he remarked that he was hoping this was not the last time to get a snack out of the machine. The rumour was that the vending machine company heard Jason was leaving and that they were going to pull all the machines since Jason was leaving.
On a strictly personal note.
My fingers are happy not having to delete all of the nasty messages left for him.
So random thought is always good

I was thinking maybe cause I like the data to put in my fanposts? Thoughts?

mistamic: I love your photo of the great, great, great Tobias Funke.
One of the funniest things I’ve ever seen that caused me to laugh out loud for a pretty extended period of time while I was watching TV alone was Tobias dressed as Mrs. Featherbottom jumping off the second floor landing and crashing through the glass coffee table.
Arrested Development iss the greatest American TV comedy series of all time.
Toby is in HR, which technically means he works for corporate, so he's really not a part of our family. Also, he's divorced, so he's really not a part of his family.
"We shant be telling your mother this, shant we?"
Tobias is the best character on the best TV show ever.
*When we blitz, have the LB's do a KC Strip. Do this in remembrance of DT.
**And the home....of the....CHIEFS!

Tavaris Jackson is not the answer..
I can’t believe they didn’t draft Claussen when they had the chance.

That blew my mind too
I mean, maybe he’s not worth a 1st rounder. Time will tell.
But if you’re the Vikings, how do you pass on that opportunity?
I love my wife, my kids, and the Chiefs. In that order. Except on game days.
