Much has been made of the injury to Detroit Lion safety Louis Delmas. The popular opinion around here is that we trade Jarrad Page to the Lions for a middle round pick.
But with DaJuan Morgan currently running with the 3rd team he looks vulnerable in deep and talented backfield. Could Detroit simply scoop him up off the waiver wire if we cut him?

Arrowhead Pride members with far more spare time at work have combed training camps around the league looking for possible last-minute additions to the Chiefs 2010 roster.
I've heard lot of names mentioned as possible pickups who didn't make other teams.
Guys like:
Eagles linebackers Tracy White and Jamar Chaney
Jets fullback Tony Richardson
Dolphins quarterback Tyler Thigpen
Buccaneers wide receiver Michael Clayton
But could other teams do the same to us? Of course. One scenario has a safety needy team like Detroit snapping up DaJuan Morgan if he got cut. The best player they have at FS after Louis Delmas is Randy Phillips, an undrafted defensive back out of the University of Miami. Here's how his college stats compare to our own DaJuan Morgan.
College stats can't tell the whole story here. But it gives you pause as to whether we really have the upper hand in a potential Jarrad Page trade.
If Pioli can't get it done then Gunther Cunningham can wait to see what other players are available. Considering we drafted DaJuan with a 3rd rounder when Gun was around you'd think he'd at least consider him for a plan B.
Do we even have any other bubble players that other teams would consider worth signing?
