The Kansas City Chiefs on Tuesday announced a few more changes to the training camp practice schedule. Here's the relevant part of their announcement:
On Wednesday, August 11th, the second practice during regular two-a-day sessions will be conducted at 4:30 PM at the Griffon Indoor Facility.
On Monday, August 16th, the first practice during regular two-a-day sessions will be conducted at 8:50 AM at the Griffon Indoor Facility.
I haven't gotten the word on why they're doing this but it doesn't seem heat-related considering that Monday practice is a morning session, which isn't one they would typically be that concerned with weather.
The Chiefs will have Wednesday's practices and then three days away from St. Joe practice fields as they play the Falcons.
We've only got about a week left remaining here. It's flying by. There are nine practices left.
The next key date for the fans: Next Wednesday is a night practice from 7:15-9:15. That worked out well last week.
I put the full, updated remaining training camp schedule after the jump.
Also, I might ask the Chiefs if this is a practice, or a walk-through...just to be sure.
