St. Joseph: Crazy For Chiefs

Almost all of my life I have grown up in or around St. Joseph.  Never have I witnessed the community come together for one purpose.  The Kansas City Chiefs are changing a community for the better.  It is great having our beloved team so close to home.  There is just something in the air.  The times are changing for the Chiefs to become winners!

Today, I went to visit my parents and all around you could see something Chiefs related.  I traveled the distance of the "Belt" Highway and there were TONS of signs saying "Welcome Chiefs and Fans."  It was just amazing to see at every stop.  My favorite sign was a neon KC Arrowhead Bud Light in a window of a gas station.  There was also a big inflatable Chief player on top of a Taco Johns.

The whole camp is nice but on the inside is what amazes me.  I found this picture online.  Can't wait for some of our Chiefs to bulk up and kill the other QB.  Go Hali!

I also stopped inside a gas station and got to talking to this older man who had on a Broncos shirt with arrows going through the Bronco.  Standing in line we got to talking and he said he has been a fan for over 40 years.  He also said this is one of the most exciting times for the Chiefs that he can remember.

I just had to get one of these shirts to get signed!  Go Chiefs!
