Thanksgiving is upon us.
I thought the timing appropriate for a Thanksgiving message and/or prayer. On the eve of what could be the most important training camp that the Chiefs have participated in for years (maybe ever), it would seem that we should take a moment to give thanks for what we are about to receive (pun intended, hear that Dwayne?). Just as the Pilgrims gave thanks for the abundance that they were surrounded with (after the Indians saved their sorry--don't know how to make corn grow, or find food in the forest--asses), we Chiefs fans need to realize the abundance that we are now surrounded with after having gone through our time of famine (I will NOT bash Herman Lee Edwards now--uh, sorry).
Dear Father, thank you for the team that is now assembling in ST. Joe. The Chiefs Nation's need is a great one and as always you have delivered. Thank you for:
Scott Pioli: and may you give him the ability to see the future
Todd Haley: and may you bless him with voice loud enough to be heard by every player
Romeo and Charlie: and may you bless them with the ability to read their counterparts mind each and every Sabbath and make the correct calls to overcome and crush the competition.
We ask that you watch over all Chiefs fans and keep them safe during all trips to and from Arrowhead.
Amen.
How about it Chiefs fans? What can you think of that we as fans should be thankful for? Have some fun with it!
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Arrowhead Pride's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Arrowhead Pride writers or editors.

I'm thankful for Al Davis!
God has allowed Al to reach the point of senility, making our team’s job much easier, two days out of every season.
