Touring The New Arrowhead: Stadium Viewing Edition

We're back with another edition of pictures from the New Arrowhead Stadium. This time around I've got some photos of the stadium itself.

Some of the pictures are from the lower level (like the one above), some are from club level and others are from upper level. There's now an outdoor standing area on the upper deck. It's pretty cool. There's a bar and an open area where you can see the field.

Clark Hunt hinted that he may make an appearance on that level during some of the games so that's something to keep in mind.

One difference I noticed: The padding around the field is now red and not green. Makes more sense this way.

Let me know if there are any other photos you'd like to see. I'll be out at Arrowhead again today and I can try to get some more photos.

I love being able to see pictures like these. I took the same kind when i went to the Emirates stadium in England.

I know it’ll be shown later in the week, but were you able to see the locker room and everything like that?

The new red padding will look great with the giant sea of red surronding it. MNF is gonna look sick at Arrowhead.

agreed...I think it will make a huge difference and make arrowhead look less like some low rent qualcomm deal...it should have always been red.

The one thing we do know is that since there arent many charger fans that travel….it will indeed be a sea of red opening night

amazing too … 40 years old and it truly looks like a brand new stadium … the renovations were pricey, of course, but the extra room and the way cool WALLS and HALL of FAME and KID STUFF and just EVERYTHING new make it more than up to date … and the Founder’s Circle, that is SO cool

the place looks like it will remain state of the art for yet another 40 years … wonder how many Super Bowls we can host?
