From the FanPosts. Good conversation topic. Joel is on a plane on his way back from D.C. by the way. He just got done covering the NFL Player's Association union meeting. He'll be back on schedule tomorrow I'm sure. -Chris

Is Jerehme Urban here to save the day?
Note that * includes about 6 passes per game blocked, thrown away, etc.

Statistical Info: Matt Cassel/Brodie Croyle combined for 534 attempts with 295 completions averaging 33 Targeted PPG.
Some interesting tidbits:
- Jamaal Charles had a 77% completion rate 40/52 targets. Larry Johnson had an 80% rate 12/15 targets.
- Jake
RyanO'Connell had a 22% completion rate 2/9 targets. Pope, Ryan, and Cottam combined for 64% rate. - Dwayne Bowe seems to catch about 56% of passes thrown at him regardless of QB or scheme.
- Mike Cox caught 10/13 passes for 77%. Matt Cassel seems to throw very well in short passes.
- Looking at what the Chiefs might do in Targeted attempts for the 2010 season.
- Dwayne Bowe 8-10 targets per game.
- Chris Chambers 7 targets per game.
- The Tight Ends 5 targets per game.
- The Running backs 6 targets per game.
Who do you think and how would you divy up the probably 7-10 extra passing targets in 2010?
Looking at the Chart do we need any confirmation that Haley/Pioli were not happy with the Slot and/or 3rd WR. Urban and Dexter McCluster were brought in to shore up that 43% completion rate. Right in Cassel's wheelhouse. Tony Meoaki and Leonard Pope should be good targets and keep that Tony Gonzalez Kansas City TE thing going here.
As far as that Drop thing, Tom Brady (39), Tony Romo (35) also had WR corps that put the ball on the ground.
