Jarad Page showed many things in 2009 from his above average speed, to his unique and often unsuccessful angles to the ball, to his hard hitting capability, and finally his lack of heart and pride in wearing the Kansas City Chiefs' jersey. O' number 44, you have finally been granted your wish to be traded. Good ol' Gunther Cunningham has just saved your career. The trade details after the jump...
Well in actuality the trade is completely fake, but lets just pretend for a second. If Jarad Page was traded what would Scott Pioli and Todd Haley want in return as a fair value for Jarad Page. Would they want a future pick for the 2011 NFL Draft, a Wide Receiver, a 4-3 Defensive Tackel that could compete for the NT position, or something else.
Lets examine three options:
1) Jarad Page is worth a future draft pick, but what round? A fifth? A sixth? A seventh? I think Scott Pioli will want atleast a sixth rounder at a minimum.
2) Corey Williams, DT, 6-4/320, DOB: 08/17/1980, College: Arkansas State, NFL Experience: 7. Corey Williams is 2nd on the depth chart for the Defensive Right Tackle position. He recorded 4-sacks last season.
3) Nate Burleson, WR, 6-0/198, DOB: 8/19/1981, NFL Experience: 8. Nate Burleson was acquired from the Seattle where he had 63 receptions for 812 yards (average of 12.9 yards/reception) and 3 touchdowns.
Now I want to see what you would like to see happen if we down keep Jarad Page locked down. What is your ideal situation if Jarad Page is granted the trade?
